As the Spearhead Cluster for Logistics, VIL carries out innovative research projects with and for companies, supported by VLAIO or the European Commission. These projects fall within one of VIL’s areas of expertise and include both applied and scientific research.

In the last few years, manufacturing companies have been returning their production from Asia or opening additional manufacturing facilities back in Eastern Europe . Through the ‘Cobots in Logistics’ project, VIL aims to enable the logistics sector to acquire knowledge and practical experience on the possibilities of these flexible service robots.
