WaterstofNet coordinated the European project H2-Share, in collaboration with 15 partners, of which VIL was one. The project received approval from Interreg North-West Europe (NWE). H2-Share stands for ‘Hydrogen Solutions for Heavy Duty Transport’ and targeted the reduction of emissions in northwestern Europe. Within the project a heavy-duty hydrogen truck and a mobile hydrogen refueling station were built and demonstrated.
The project aimed to facilitate the market development of low-carbon heavy-duty vehicles on hydrogen for logistic purposes. The project gained practical experience in different regions in northwestern Europe. The project has demonstrated the readiness of hydrogen technology in real conditions.
This project received 1.69 million euros in grants from Interreg northwestern Europe.
The project ran from March 2017 until March 2020.
